CMS Proposed Regulations

We have talked about the proposed “Access Rule” (primary component of concern is the requirement for 80% of the rate paid be dedicated to the compensation of DSPs) and about the “Transparency Rule”   which, as proposed, would impact nursing homes and ICF-IIDs.   The most recent ANCOR Fact Sheet is attached. 

We hope to have the opportunity, through our participation with the other State Association Executive Directors, to spend some time next week with the CMS staff who are influential in this arena.   While it is a closed door meeting and we will not “report out” the details, we do hope to gain a better understanding and share our concerns.
