ANCOR has a long history of advocacy based on careful analysis and review of the policies, practices and outcomes for both individuals and providers as states have considered and implemented a variety of Managed Care options for the Long-term Care Services for individuals with I/DD. The most recent effort is
here and will help inform the development of our strategy going forward.
We can share now that one of the highlights of the VNPP Fall Conference will be a presentation and discussion with the Executive Director of the Iowa Provider Association who has been on the front line of the conversion to Managed Care in that state!
