PUBLIC COMMENTS NEEDED FOR TRANSFORMATION TEAMS February 8, 2016
Since, October 2014, the Transformation Teams have been collaborating to develop recommendations to improve Virginia’s behavioral health and developmental services systems. In December 2015, the four teams have finalized and submitted the second round of recommendations aimed at transforming Virginia’s system. As you may know, the next step of the transformation process is soliciting public comment.
They have posted the recommendations and a webinar on the DBHDS website for you to view
here. Also on this page, you will find the Transformation Team PowerPoints, recommendation themes , and a way to
submit your feedback on the recommendations. The public comment period is open through February 29, 2016.
Please pass this meeting information along to your key contacts and anyone else who may be interested. We will be posting it on our website and official social media feeds, which you can link to or repost.
