DD Waiver Rates – July 2025

We are beginning to get questions about the July 1st rate increases — the rates sheets have not been posted, and our best guess is that they will not be until after June 11th when the rates are presented to the DMAS Board.  However, the services are listed below in the Budget Language and the math is pretty simple 

 

• Take the current rate for a service/tier and multiply by 1.03 
• Round up!
• If you are a penny or two too high – DMAS will not pay for a higher rate than allowed so you will be paid correctly
• If you are a penny or two too low — DMAS will pay what you bill!

That said – the rates will be out before July 1st!

2. Effective July 1, 2025, the Department of Medical Assistance Services shall have the authority to update the rates for DD waiver services by three percent for Group Homes, Sponsored Residential, Supported Living, Independent Living Supports, In-home Supports, Community Engagement, Community Coaching, Therapeutic Consultation, Private Duty and Skilled Nursing, Group Day Support, Group Supported Employment, Workplace Assistance, Community Guide, and Benefits Planning. The department shall have the authority to implement these changes prior to completion of any regulatory process to effect such change.
