Electronic Visit Verification – Less that Six Months to “Go Live!”

April 04, 2019

There has not been much activity about EVV recently, so we did some “research” and found:
  • There is a fair amount of information on the DMAS website
  • The DRAFT Regulations are in the early stages of approval, but are available here for your review
Remember that EVV will be required effective October 1, 2019 in order to bill be Companion, personal care or respite services which are delivered in the individual’s hoke or in the community.  It is NOT required for services in a DBHDS licensed site, eg. group home, sponsored homes, supported residential, or similar facility, a REACH home or a in a school setting.  It will impact both agency directed and consumer directed services as well as those now paid for under CCCPlus.
