The two questions we are most frequently asked are both answered in 826.30 (pg 19351 of the Register):

  • Note that in (c) it says that an employer may exclude an employee who is a health care provider from EPSLA’s paid sick leave requirements and/or the EFMLEA’s Expanded Family and Medical Leave requirements,

  • Note that is (c)(1)(i) & (ii) there is a definition of Health Care Provider which is very broad.
