The areas of focus for the Governor’s proposed amendments are transportation, education (both K-12 and Higher Ed) and for savings; however, he is proposing additional funds for START, funding for supplemental payments for persons leaving training centers with significant behavioral or medical needs, additional funding for oversight and monitoring of services & $3 million per year to make up the shortfall in Part C. He is also proposing savings from the projected surpluses in CSA & 4E Foster Care.
