Guardianship Training & Other Things

The flyer for the training for ALL Guardians in here.  While this is the responsibility of the Courts and is being managed by them, it might be useful to advise families who have the “guardianship” responsibility that a training is available.  It also might be instructive for you or a member of your team to take the training to better understand the expectations and responsibilities!

Speaking of instructive things – the updates to the DBHDS Licensing Regulations that were published last Friday to go into effect on 19 June were “non-controversial,”  but definitely have a few interesting tidbits!   I would skip the added material and go right to the text so you can better see the additions (not many) and deletions!   And if you have staff who have been with you 26+ years — definitely attach the relevant page with a date inside their personnel file!  Then a few years from now you will remember what the regulation used to say!
