The first two of a series of Medicaid Memos have been released and are available on the Medicaid Web Portal. These two relate to the transfer of the authorization for services for the “DD Waiver” which will be the Family and Individual Supports Waiver (FIS) from KEPRO to DBHDS. If you are not providing services under this Waiver currently, this will not affect your business processes.
We expect that there will be a series of Memos each targeting a group of services, such as residential. or day services. And we expect that the memos will give the details we need to build our systems so, as providers, we can implement.
