Marvin Figueroa is Named HHR Secretary in the New Administration

Figueroa is a somewhat familiar name in the Health and Human Resources realm as he served as Deputy Secretary in the Northam Administration.     While there is nothing particularly remarkable in the press release, I do not remember the HHR Secretary being the first appointment in previous administrations. 

This is either indicative of the importance this area of effort is to the Governor-elect or that this was simply the first individual fully vetted and the decision made!   I’m going with the former reason!
