The US Department of Labor has ordered Seneca County (Ohio) workshop, Seneca Re-Ad Industries, to pay 3 petitioners minimum wage. Seneca Re-Ad Industries has 30 days to appeal the order. The order will result in each of the 3 petitioners getting back pay and liquidated damages of about $18,000 each; and opens the possibility of having to pay attorney fees. Seneca Re-Ad Industries has a 14(c) Certificate.
This decision will likely get national attention.
