New Licensing Legislation in Effect July 1

June 30, 2014

The revisions to the code that VNPP requested last Session will go into effect on July 1st . The changes are shown as edits in the document attached here.  The significant changes are in the codification of the length of a full license as either one year or three years and in the granting of APA appeal rights if a provider is issued a provisional license.  It also requires notification to funding agencies if an provider’s license is suspended, revoked or denied or in cases where a special order has been issued.
