Several VNPP members have been able to meet with two of the potential bidders on the RFP for Care Coordination for non-traditional behavioral health services for children and adults. Both meetings have been informative for us and I hope instructive for the potential bidders. One interesting aspect is that the Behavioral Healthcare Partnership which was formed by the CSBs has “partnered” with Value Options to form Community Health Partnership, LLC, a for profit entity that will, in fact, submit a proposal in response to the RFP. That entity will then contract with Value Options to perform the “backroom” functions required by and associated with a contract of this size and scope.
