RHRN Virginia BH Redesign Provider Survey Information!

DMAS hosted an introductory presentation, along with Mercer Consulting, regarding Right Help Right Now Virginia Behavioral Health Redesign provider survey. The RHRN Redesign efforts are planned to impact CMHRS services: Intensive In-Home, Therapeutic Day Treatment, Mental Health Skill Building, Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Mental Health Case Management with a deadline of 2026. The provider survey is the first opportunity for provider data collection.
In an apparent effort to keep the good and improve the rest, the survey includes narrative response, demographic information, costs and utilization of EBPs / measures, as well as specific CMHRS service utilization.
The survey can be found here and printable versions are available to help providers gather necessary data prior to completing the survey.
DMAS recognized the significant data lift for our providers and stressed the need for provider contribution to the cost and utilization portions of the survey. VNPP members are encouraged to participate in the survey and DMAS’s proposed “office hours” on 9/20 and 9/27. Ultimately VNPP will continue to participate in ongoing discussions and navigation of what lies ahead, but at this point it is more questions (102 to be exact) than answers.
Presentation slides as well as a link to the survey will reportedly be posted on the (new) RHRN Redesign webpage on the DMAS website later this week. A copy of the survey will also be available to download and review.
