SIS Data Trends – Not Much to See Here!

April 21, 2026

There have recently been occasional comments/questions about a perceived decrease in assigned SIS Levels (which in a “tiered service” results in a decrease in the rate).   We have received the 2026 SIS data and have attached a comparison to the same data elements from 2025.   The chart is available here!

Except that there seem to be an extraordinary number of “Default Level 2” in both years, there does not appear to be an appreciable difference or any significant trend either up or down in levels.   The data will shortly be posted to the DBHDS website and you can look for yourself!

We will try to update tomorrow evening and summarize the fate of the Governor’s amendments and vetoes during the “reconvened” Session tomorrow.   Both the House and the Senate go in at noon.  There is no posted schedule yet for the Special Session which was supposed to convene on the 23rd to consider the Budget and no bills are posted!
