At an association meeting today, DMAS announced that the services currently covered by the Magellan BHSA contract – the behavioral health services primarily provided by VNPP members – will be carved out of the CCC+ contracts for the first six months (July 2017 through December 2017). Authorizations and billing for services will not change during the carve out period.
We will have access to the contract document next week and will be able to see more of the details.
