First – the General Assembly did, in fact, pass the Budget yesterday!
Second — also yesterday, the Governor did declare a state of emergency because of the pandemic. Keep in mind, that for any state a Gubernatorial Declaration is a tool to allow certain actions to take place. A copy can be found
here. It occurs to me that placing a copy in every individual’s record would provide a “start date” for any service modifications or other actions that you may have to take because of the pandemic. Just a thought!
Third — we will be on a call early next week to begin strategizing with DMAS about what steps need to be taken and what exceptions to current policies/procedures or regulations need to be made. We have a list of our priorities which we will share.
