It is our intent to approach the proposal both from the perspective of whether or not the service array/continuum will feasibly meet the needs of the individuals we serve, but also from the perspective of if the services (and the transition to the new services) can allow providers to create and maintain a sustainable business model. As we have learned in transformations past, the desire and intent to provide the highest quality services within the constraints imposed is often made more difficult by the clear lack of understanding that the forces which shape the businesses we operate – workforce, reimbursement and regulations – can limit our ability to do so!
