Of the two large issues remaining in the budget negotiations, it appears that one may be resolved. It was announced tonight that the conferees may have reached a compromise on how to provide a funding stream for transportation into the future.
The other large issue, and the one of greater concern to us, is not yet resolved. The Governor sent a letter to the Money Committee chairs expressing his concerns about the risk of expanding Medicaid coverage without the implementation and completion of significant Medicaid reforms.
