Among the things that are frustrating in life are those that just escape our attention, but are critical to our work! There was a change this week on the DMAS Webportal page where the Medicaid Manuals are listed – the notice of the location of the Manual Updates and Revisions is now in large type and easy to find!

And on a related and very important note – as providers are learning depending on the WaMS system for useful information is often a risk. All providers should routinely be verifying service authorizations via the Webportal and collecting the printable versions from the secure email. That is the only place that will give the reliable information required for billing.
