Also, Senators Murkowski and Brown, with the strong support of ANCOR, have introduced a bipartisan bill in Congress (also introduced in the House) to delay the implementation of the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirement for at least one year. Scheduled to go into effect in January 2019, the rule would require an electronic method of verifying the start and stop times for most services provided in individual’s homes. ANCOR has been working with CMS on the national level and we have been working with DMAS and our legislators on the local level; but many questions remain and a delay would be beneficial to all!
